<h1>Central Government Rescinds 2010 SEZ Notification for Engineering Sector in Satara, Maharashtra; Land to Aid Infrastructure Development.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notification No. S.O. 1909(E) dated 04.08.2010, concerning the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the engineering sector at Village Survadi and Nandal, Taluka Phaltan, District Satara, Maharashtra. Initially, 101.25 hectares were notified, with 48.1695 hectares de-notified in 2017. M/s. Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Limited has proposed to de-notify the remaining 53.0805 hectares, with the State Government of Maharashtra's No Objection Certificate. The land will be used for infrastructure development aligning with the SEZ's original objectives and state land use guidelines. The proposal has been recommended by the SEEPZ SEZ Development Commissioner.
