of <h1>Import Policy Update: Exim Codes 2803 00 10 and 4011 20 10 Now Restricted Under ITC (HS) Amendments</h1> The Central Government has amended the import policy under Schedule I of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 2004-09. The amendments involve changing the import status of certain Exim Codes from 'Free' to 'Restricted.' Specifically, codes 2803 00 10 and 4011 20 10 are now restricted. For fibre boards of wood or other materials under heading 4411, certain medium density fibre boards are now restricted based on thickness, while hardboard and other specified items remain free. Additionally, certain polyester and elastomeric items under heading 5402 have been reclassified as restricted or free. These changes are made in public interest.
