This decision follows a review confirming these entities meet the necessary privacy and security standards as per the Aadhaar Act, 2016. The Unique Identification Authority of India and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India were consulted in this process. The entities permitted for Aadhaar authentication include Go-Digit Life Insurance Limited and Acko Life Insurance Limited. This authorization is formalized under notification S.O. 3586(E) dated 22nd August 2024.
