<h1>Revised Tariff Values for Oils, Metals Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective August 1, 2024.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from August 1, 2024. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oils, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, and silver. For instance, crude palm oil is set at $930 per metric tonne, while gold is valued at $769 per 10 grams and silver at $908 per kilogram. The notification updates previous amendments and continues to regulate import duties on these goods.
