<h1>New Customs Tariff Values Set for Oils, Brass, Gold, Silver; Effective June 29, 2024.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued Notification No. 46/2024-Customs (N.T.), dated June 28, 2024, amending tariff values for various commodities under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, and brass scrap, with values ranging from $931 to $5,587 per metric tonne. Additionally, tariff values for gold and silver are set at $748 per 10 grams and $934 per kilogram, respectively. The tariff value for areca nuts remains unchanged at $6,242 per metric tonne. This notification takes effect on June 29, 2024.
