of <h1>Director of Software Technology Parks of India, Noida, Appointed as SEZ Development Commissioner Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has appointed the Director of Software Technology Parks of India, Noida, as the Development Commissioner for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Noida. This appointment, effective from October 27, 2008, is made under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Development Commissioner will oversee the SEZ developed by IVR Prime IT SEZ Private Limited, spanning 10 hectares in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The appointee will follow directives from the Central Government, Department of Commerce, and the Board of Approval on SEZs, submitting periodic reports and being accountable to the Department of Commerce. Personal matters will be managed by the Department of Information Technology.
