of <h1>SEBI Mandates Certification for Key Personnel in Alternative Investment Fund Management Teams per 2007 Regulations.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a notification under the Certification of Associated Persons in the Securities Markets Regulations, 2007. This mandates that at least one key personnel in the investment team of a Manager of an Alternative Investment Fund must be certified by passing the NISM Series-XIX-C: Alternative Investment Fund Managers Certification Examination. This requirement is in accordance with the SEBI regulations and will take effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
