India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese and Hong Kong PCBs for 5 Years; Some Exclusions Apply.
The Ministry of Finance has imposed an anti-dumping duty on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) imported from China and Hong Kong for five years, following the final findings by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR). The investigation concluded that these imports were priced below normal values, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty rates vary, with some producers facing no duty while others face up to 75.72% of the CIF value. Certain PCBs, such as those with more than six layers or used in mobile phones, are excluded from this duty. The duty is payable in Indian currency.
