of <h1>Andhra Pradesh Updates GST Rules: Aadhaar Biometric Authentication Now Required for Registration in Three States.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has amended a previous notification to include biometric-based Aadhaar authentication for GST registration within the state. This amendment updates the original notification, G.O.Ms.No.62, dated 17.01.2023, to now apply to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Puducherry. This change is made under the powers granted by the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, following recommendations from the GST Council. The amendment will be published in an extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
