<h1>Customs Notification Amended: Deadline Extended from December 1, 2023, to January 20, 2024, u/s 51A(4) of the Customs Act.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended Notification No. 19/2022-Customs (N.T.) by extending the date mentioned in paragraph 2 from December 1, 2023, to January 20, 2024. This amendment is made under the authority of Section 51A(4) of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary by the Board. The principal notification and its subsequent amendments were published in the Gazette of India, detailing various changes made over time, with the latest being Notification No. 88/2023-Customs (N.T.) dated November 29, 2023.
