of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Against Indian Rupee Announced, Effective November 3, 2023, per Notification No. 81/2023.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 81/2023 on November 2, 2023, establishing new exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Indian rupee, effective from November 3, 2023. This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 76/2023, dated October 19, 2023. The exchange rates are specified for both imported and export goods across various currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen, among others. These rates are set under the authority of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, and are subject to further amendments.
