<h1>Notification Revises Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Areca Nuts Effective October 14, 2023, Under Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued Notification No. 75/2023-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on October 13, 2023, revising tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These changes are effective from October 14, 2023. The notification amends the earlier Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) and provides updated tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne or per specified unit for each listed item.
