of <h1>New Customs Tariff Values Announced for Oils, Brass Scrap, Gold and Silver Effective September 30, 2023.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 71/2023-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on September 29, 2023, revising the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, palmolein, crude soybean oil, and brass scrap, with values ranging from $864 to $4776 per metric tonne. Additionally, the tariff values for gold and silver are set at $603 per 10 grams and $737 per kilogram, respectively. The tariff for areca nuts remains unchanged at $7765 per metric tonne. The notification is effective from September 30, 2023.
