Designates Account Aggregators for Data Sharing via GST Portal, Effective October 1, 2023, u/s 158A.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued a notification under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, designating 'Account Aggregator' systems for information sharing via the common portal, effective October 1, 2023. This decision, made on the recommendation of the Goods and Services Tax Council, allows data sharing based on consent under Section 158A of the Act. An 'Account Aggregator' is defined as a non-banking financial company operating under the Reserve Bank of India's policy directions. This notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
