This decision follows findings that dumping persists despite existing duties, with Chinese-origin products entering through Malaysia. The duty, initially imposed in 2018, aims to protect the domestic industry from injury. The anti-dumping duty is set at USD 2.19 per kilogram and applies to nylon fishing nets, excluding those made from HDPE. The duty is effective from the notification's publication date and payable in Indian currency.
