<h1>SEBI Repeals 2003 Ombudsman Regulations with New 2023 Rules; Ongoing Legal Proceedings Remain Unaffected.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued the Ombudsman (Repeal) Regulations, 2023, effectively repealing the Ombudsman Regulations of 2003. These new regulations, effective upon their publication in the Official Gazette, do not affect any prior operations, rights, obligations, liabilities, penalties, or legal proceedings established under the 2003 regulations. Any ongoing investigations or legal actions may continue as though the 2003 regulations remain in force.
