<h1>Authorisation to file complaints under FEMA: specified enforcement officers may initiate adjudication inquiries before the Adjudicating Authority.</h1> The Central Government delegates authority to enforcement officers not below Assistant Director to file complaints before the Adjudicating Authority, thereby authorising specified enforcement personnel to initiate inquiries under the Foreign Exchange Management Act and effectuating an administrative delegation of complaint-filing within the statutory inquiry framework.
