of <h1>India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Fishing Nets Until September 2023 to Protect Domestic Industries.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued a notification to extend the anti-dumping duty on fishing nets originating from or exported by China. This duty, initially imposed by Notification No. 20/2018-Customs (ADD) dated April 10, 2018, is being reviewed under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The review was initiated on September 30, 2022, and the duty will continue to be in effect until September 9, 2023, unless it is revoked, superseded, or amended earlier. This extension aims to mitigate dumping practices and protect domestic industries from injury.
