of <h1>Government Amends IGST Notification for Absolute Exemption on Certain Inter-State Goods Supplies, Effective January 2023.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 2/2017-Integrated Tax (Rate) to provide an absolute exemption from Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) on certain inter-State supplies of goods, effective January 1, 2023. The amendments include changes to the description of goods under S. No. 102, now covering various animal feeds and additives, and the addition of S. No. 102C, which includes husk of pulses and other concentrates. This amendment is made under the authority of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and is deemed necessary in the public interest based on the Council's recommendations.
