Exemption under section 35AC extended to a specified charitable hospital and school project, allowing continued tax-deductible support. The Central Government specifies the project of construction, equipment and running of a 30-bed hospital and a high school at Heggadevanakote taluk, Mysore District, by Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement as an eligible project under section 35AC for a further two years beginning with the assessment year 2001-2002, following a National Committee recommendation and subject to the estimated project cost set out in the notification.
