of <h1>Government De-notifies 51.3069 Hectares from Tamil Nadu SEZ for Industrial Use; SEZ Now 51.9311 Hectares.</h1> The Central Government has de-notified 51.3069 hectares from a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) designated for Transport Engineering Goods, including the manufacture of Tyres and Tubes, in Tamil Nadu. Initially notified in 2008, the SEZ was proposed by the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited. Following approval from the Tamil Nadu State Government and recommendation from the Development Commissioner, the de-notified land will be reallocated for industrial use for DTA industrial units. The resultant SEZ area now stands at 51.9311 hectares, located at the Industrial Growth Centre in Gangaikondan Village, Tirunelveli District.
