of <h1>Central Government Reduces SEZ Area in Tamil Nadu by 7.111 Hectares Following State Proposal Approval.</h1> The Central Government has de-notified 7.111 hectares from the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Industrial Growth Centres in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. This adjustment reduces the SEZ's total area from 140.755 hectares to 133.644 hectares. The de-notification follows a proposal by the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, approved by the State Government and recommended by the Development Commissioner of MEPZ SEZ. The de-notified land includes specific survey numbers in the villages of Vallam and Mathur.
