of <h1>NFRA Amendment Rules 2022: Chairperson and Members Can Opt for Fixed Salary or Government Pay Scale.</h1> The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) Amendment Rules, 2022, modifies the terms of appointment and service conditions for the Chairperson and members of the NFRA. The amendment allows the Chairperson and full-time members to choose between a fixed monthly salary or the pay and allowances of a Secretary or Additional Secretary to the Government of India. If receiving a government pension, their pay will be reduced by the pension amount. The rules also address entitlements such as house rent and transport allowances, aligning them with those of equivalent government positions. These rules are effective upon publication in the Official Gazette.
