<h1>Customs Act 1962: Revised Tariff Values for Crude Palm Oil, Gold, Silver, and More Effective February 1, 2022.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962, effective February 1, 2022. The revised tariff values include crude palm oil at $1,346 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $1,368, and crude soybean oil at $1,449. Brass scrap is valued at $5,766 per metric tonne. Gold is set at $576 per 10 grams and silver at $733 per kilogram. Areca nuts remain unchanged at $4,937 per metric tonne. These changes update the previous notification from August 3, 2001, with the latest amendment from January 14, 2022.
