of <h1>New Customs Tariff Values Announced for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Effective January 15, 2022, per Notification No. 03/2022-CUSTOMS (N.T.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued Notification No. 03/2022-CUSTOMS (N.T.), amending the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from January 15, 2022, the revised tariff values are set for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts. For instance, crude palm oil is valued at $1,348 per metric tonne, while gold is priced at $586 per 10 grams. These amendments update the previous notification from August 2001 and its last amendment from December 2021.
