Rescission of customs exemption notifications under the Customs Act in public interest, preserving prior actions and omissions. The Central Government rescinds Notification No. 16/2000-Customs (1st March, 2000) and Notification No. 101/2000-Customs (17th July, 2000) under the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, on grounds of public interest, while saving actions done or omissions made prior to the rescission.
