The exemption applies to items such as postage stamps, first day covers, brochures, stock books, and philatelic accessories, provided a Deputy Secretary in the Department of Posts certifies their necessity for the exhibition. This exemption covers both the basic customs duty and additional duties under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
