of <h1>Companies (Meetings of Board and its Powers) Rules, 2014 Amended: Rule 4 Omitted Under Companies Act, 2013 Authority.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued a notification amending the Companies (Meetings of Board and its Powers) Rules, 2014. Effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, the amendment, titled the Companies (Meetings of Board and its Powers) Amendment Rules, 2021, involves the omission of rule 4. This change is enacted under the authority of sections 173, 177, 178, and 186, read with section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013. The principal rules have been amended multiple times since their initial publication in the Gazette of India on March 31, 2014.
