of <h1>GSTR-1 Filing Deadline for May 2021 Extended by 15 Days per Notification No. 17/2021 - Central Tax.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 17/2021 - Central Tax, dated June 1, 2021. This notification extends the due date for filing FORM GSTR-1 for May 2021 by an additional 15 days. This amendment modifies the earlier notification No. 83/2020 - Central Tax, dated November 10, 2020, by including May 2021 in the provisions that previously applied to April 2021. The extension is made under the authority of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, based on the recommendations of the GST Council.
