of <h1>Notification No. 43/2021 sets new foreign currency exchange rates for import/export, effective April 16, 2021.</h1> Notification No. 43/2021-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, dated April 15, 2021, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for imported and exported goods, effective April 16, 2021. This supersedes Notification No. 40/2021-Customs (N.T.) from April 1, 2021. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies, and Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, applicable to both imports and exports. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 46/2021 on May 6, 2021.
