of <h1>New Exchange Rates Set for Foreign Currency Conversion in India, Effective April 2, 2021.</h1> Notification No. 40/2021-Cus (NT) issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs on April 1, 2021, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and exported goods, effective April 2, 2021. This notification supersedes Notification No. 31/2021-Customs(N.T.) dated March 18, 2021. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen and Korean Won. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 43/2021 on April 15, 2021.
