of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Palm Oils, Soybean Oil, Brass, Gold, and Silver Under Customs Act.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 112/2020-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 15th December 2020, amending previous tariff notifications. The notification revises the tariff values for various goods including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. The specified tariff values are set in US dollars per metric tonne or per unit weight for gold and silver, reflecting adjustments necessary for customs valuation under the Customs Act, 1962.
