<h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts; New Rates for Gold and Silver Announced.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 83/2020-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on August 31, 2020, revising tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The updated tariff values include crude palm oil at $730 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $755, crude soya bean oil at $821, brass scrap at $3776, and poppy seeds at $3623. Additionally, gold is set at $630 per 10 grams, and silver at $881 per kilogram. Areca nuts are valued at $3720 per metric tonne. These adjustments replace previous tables in Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.).
