<h1>Revised Tariff Values for Edible Oils, Metals, and More Announced Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective August 14, 2020.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the notification concerning tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for various commodities including edible oils, brass scrap, poppy seeds, areca nuts, gold, and silver. For instance, crude palm oil is valued at $722 per metric tonne, brass scrap at $3751 per metric tonne, and gold at $626 per 10 grams. These changes are intended to update the tariff values as per the current market conditions and are effective as of the 14th of August, 2020.
