of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in Imports/Exports Announced by CBIC, Effective June 5, 2020.</h1> Notification No. 49/2020 issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs on June 4, 2020, under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for import and export purposes, effective June 5, 2020. It supersedes Notification No. 46/2020, dated May 21, 2020. The notification includes two schedules listing exchange rates: Schedule I for individual foreign currency units and Schedule II for 100 units of currency, covering currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, and others, with distinct rates for imported and exported goods.
