<h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Crude Palm Oil, Soya Bean Oil, Gold, Silver, and More Under Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, issued Notification No. 42/2020-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on May 15, 2020, amending previous notifications to set new tariff values for various goods. The revised tariff values include crude palm oil at $546 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $556, crude soya bean oil at $636, brass scrap at $3041, poppy seeds at $3623, gold at $557 per 10 grams, silver at $501 per kilogram, and areca nuts at $3752 per metric tonne. These adjustments are made under the Customs Act, 1962.
