of <h1>India Amends Customs Duty Rates: Rs. 18 Per Litre for Serial Numbers 1 and 2 Effective May 2020.</h1> Notification No. 21/2020-Customs, issued by the Government of India, amends Notification No. 18/2019-Customs dated 6th July 2019. The amendment, effective from 6th May 2020, modifies entries in the notification's table, specifically replacing the entries in column (4) for Serial Numbers 1 and 2 with 'Rs. 18 per litre.' This change is made under the authority of the Finance Act, 2018, and the Customs Act, 1962, in the interest of public welfare. The principal notification had been previously amended by Notification No. 15/2020-Customs on 13th March 2020.
