Road and Infrastructure Cess raised on petrol and diesel, increasing per litre customs duty and effective in March. Amends Notification No. 18/2019 Customs by substituting the entries in column (4) for Sl. Nos. 1 and 2 to set a higher per litre Road and Infrastructure Cess as an additional duty of customs on petrol and diesel. The amendment is effected under the government's delegated statutory powers and comes into force from 14th March, 2020.
