of <h1>Central Government Approves 10-Hectare SEZ in Hinjewadi for IT Services; Recognized as Inland Container Depot.</h1> The Central Government has notified a 10-hectare area in Hinjewadi, Taluka Mulshi, as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services, proposed by a private company. The government has fulfilled the necessary requirements and granted approval for the development and operation of the SEZ. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developer. The SEZ will be recognized as an Inland Container Depot starting February 17, 2020, under the Customs Act, 1962.
