of <h1>Common Adjudicating Authority Appointed for Customs Cases per Customs Act, 1962; Joint Commissioner to Oversee Multiple Noticees.</h1> The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, under the Ministry of Finance, has appointed a Common Adjudicating Authority to handle specific customs cases. This appointment is in accordance with previous notifications and amendments under the Customs Act, 1962. The designated officer will serve as the adjudicating authority for cases involving multiple noticees, including a company and others, related to a show cause notice dated April 23, 2012. The appointed authority is the Joint/Additional Commissioner of Customs at the Inland Container Depot in Sahnewal, Ludhiana, succeeding previous customs officials from Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Nhava Sheva.
