Show Cause Notice Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, under the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 12/2019-Customs (N.T./CAA/DRI) appointing a Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment follows previous notifications and amendments under the Customs Act, 1962. The designated officer will adjudicate the show cause notice issued to M/s NPT Papers Pvt. Ltd. and others. The Principal Commissioner/Commissioner of Customs at Adani Port, Mundra, and other specified locations will act as the adjudicating authorities. This appointment is intended to streamline the adjudication process for the specified noticees and notices.
