of <h1>Section 465 of Companies Act, 2013, effective from January 30, 2019; excludes Sikkim Companies Act repeal.</h1> The Central Government has designated January 30, 2019, as the effective date for implementing section 465 of the Companies Act, 2013, which pertains to the repeal of the Companies Act, 1956. This implementation excludes provisions related to the repeal of the Registration of Companies (Sikkim) Act, 1961. This decision was made under the authority granted by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Companies Act, 2013, as documented in File No. 1/1/2019-CL.I by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
