Effective from their publication date, these amendments specifically alter rule 71. In sub-rules (3) and (4), the term 'Central Government' is replaced with 'Regional Director.' These changes are made under the authority of section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013. The principal rules were initially published in 2016 and have undergone previous amendments in 2016 and 2017.
