of <h1>Former SBI MD Appointed to Securities Appellate Tribunal in Mumbai Under SEBI Act, 1992; Tenure Until Age 62.</h1> The Central Government has appointed a former Managing Director of the State Bank of India as a member of the Securities Appellate Tribunal in Mumbai. This appointment is made under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. The tenure of the appointment will last until the appointee reaches the age of 62 or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, Capital Market Division, on May 20, 2005.
