<h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Under Customs Act 1962, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 102/2018-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated December 31, 2018, to amend previous notifications regarding the fixation of tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The updated tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These amendments replace previous tables in the notification dated August 3, 2001, and are effective immediately.
