of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values for Key Commodities Including Oils, Scrap, and Precious Metals Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 98/2018-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 14th December 2018, amending the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values are specified for various commodities including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts. These changes are reflected in the updated tables replacing the previous ones in the notification dated 3rd August 2001.
