of <h1>Central Government Amends Rule 8: Securities Appellate Tribunal Officials Now Get Staff Car and Petrol Allowance.</h1> The Central Government has amended the Securities Appellate Tribunal (Salaries, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Presiding Officer and Other Members) Rules, 2003. Effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, Rule 8 has been revised to provide the Presiding Officer and Members of the Securities Appellate Tribunal with a staff car and 200 liters of petrol per month or the actual petrol consumption per month, whichever is less. This amendment is documented under G.S.R. 742(E) dated 22nd October 2014.
