of <h1>India Sets New Customs Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Effective September 7, 2018; Supersedes Previous Notification.</h1> Notification No. 77/2018-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Government of India on September 6, 2018, under the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for customs purposes. Effective from September 7, 2018, these rates apply to imported and exported goods, superseding the previous notification No. 74/2018. The notification lists exchange rates for various currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen, among others, with separate rates for imports and exports. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 81/2018 on September 20, 2018.
