of <h1>New Currency Exchange Rates for Import/Export Goods Set by Notification No. 74/2018, Effective August 17, 2018.</h1> Notification No. 74/2018 issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, determines the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for imported and export goods. Effective from August 17, 2018, this notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 67/2018. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of foreign currency. This notification facilitates the calculation of customs duties under the Customs Act, 1962.
