of <h1>Vocational Training Center Project Extended Under Section 35AC for Three More Years to Aid Low-Income Families</h1> The Central Government has specified the construction of a 600 square feet building equipped for a vocational training and community welfare center in Vasna, Ahmedabad, by Akhand Jyot Foundation as an eligible project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for two assessment years starting 1994-95, the project is now extended for an additional three years from 1996-97, following a recommendation by the National Committee. The project aims to provide training in 15 disciplines to families with incomes below Rs. 2,000 per month, with an estimated cost of Rs. 26.48 lakhs.
